TBG sponsored the 2nd edition of the Rio de Janeiro Industry Free Gas Market event, which took place this Thursday, the 5th, at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN). The meeting promoted the concept of joint actions by industry players and generate new business opportunities for the free market.

In this edition, a Transportation workshop was held, which was led by TBG Commercial Manager, Cecília Mendes, and the TBG Market and Regulation Manager, Robson Coelho, who participated in Panel 1 with a discussion of the theme: The transportation system and its particularities.

Robson presented information of interest in the market area for gas carriers, especially TBG, and explained the dynamics of the Capacity Booking Portal (POC). “TBG has been in the business for over 25 years and has been developing commercial actions in line with the market agenda. We have digitalized our business and the POC is the marketplace for creating logistics solutions for natural gas transportation,” said Robson.

Cecilia Mendes highlighted that, in response to growing market demands, TBG created a new virtual environment on the TBG portal, which will allow the simulation of charges and costs involved in contracting and operating transport services. “We are committed to automating our processes and bringing this dynamism to the market. The purpose of the simulator is to make the process even clearer and simpler”, stressed Cecília.
