NBR ISO and OHSAS

 

The TBG Integrated Management System (SGI) is a method for managing the company's Natural Gas Pipeline Transport processes and activities, involving matters of Quality, the Environment, Occupational Health and Safety and Measurement, based on internationally recognized standards such as NBR ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), NBR ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), NBR ISO 10012:2004 (Measurement Management System) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). In the case of the Measurement Management System, based on NBR ISO 10012:2004, the scope of the certification covers the processes for the Management of Systems for the Measurement of Natural Gas Volume for Transfer of Custody.

ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017

In January 2020, the TBG was awarded by the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro) continued accreditation under the standard ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for its Calibration Service Management System (SGSC). This Inmetro accreditation is aimed at expanding the supply of calibration services available within the national industrial sphere without sacrificing the metrological quality and traceability so essential to obtaining reliable measurements. The TBG was the first Brazilian pipeline carrier to obtain such accreditation.

 

 

 

 

 

International Association for Impact Assessment – IAIA 2001


In recognition of the work carried out in the construction of the Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline, in June 2001, in the Colombian city of Cartagena , the TBG was presented with the Corporate Award for Good Environmental Practice, awarded by the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), a scientific NGO with 2,500 representatives in more than 100 countries that enjoys considerable international prestige, as the undertaking that showed the best Environmental Management.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Green Seal – Certificate for Environmental Distinction  

In 2018, 2019 and 2020, the TBG was awarded the "CERTIFICATE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL DISTINCTION - GREEN SEAL", presented by the Journal of the Environment of the state of São Paulo.

The GREEN SEAL is a certificate that is presented to companies in order to encourage, recognize and reward good sustainability practices during the production/service cycle. It represents a commitment to the environment from the sustainable development perspective, reflecting an innovative and efficient management model.

The recommendation for the TBG to receive this award was based on a survey involving the regulatory agency Ibama and the state environmental bodies, considering the criteria Water and Effluent; Energy; Raw Materials and Waste; Atmospheric emissions; and Environmental Education.

 

 

 

 

On November 27, 2014, we were presented with the ABRASCA AWARD – BEST ANNUAL REPORT OF 2013.

This is the third time that we have taken first place, in addition to being among the five finalists in the category “Privately owned companies with net revenue of less than R$ 1 billion” for the last six years.

Once again, we found ourselves competing with major companies, which reinforces the confidence in our corporate governance model, respecting transparency, ethics, the environment and society, following the path that we are developing together, with a view to increasing our participation in the natural gas pipeline market.

In 2013, at the 15th Edition of the Abrasca Award – Annual Report, the TBG placed 2nd in the category “Privately owned companies with net revenue of less than R$ 1 billion”, for its Management Report for the year 2012.

The Brazilian Association of Publicly Listed Companies (Abrasca) rewards companies whose annual reports present the best quality and transparency of information, reflecting corporate management that is appropriate for the size of the organization.

In 2012, at the 14th Edition of the Abrasca Award – Annual Report, the TBG was ranked 2nd in the category “Privately owned companies with net revenue of less than R$ 1 billion”, for its Integrated Activity Report for the year 2011.

In 2010, the TBG won, for the fourth time, the privately owned category of the Transparency Trophy, which is presented annually, for the best publication of financial statements, by Anefac (National Association of Financial, Administrative and Accounting Executives), Fipecafi (Foundation of the Accounting, Actuarial and Financial Research Institute) and Serasa Experian.

In 2010, for the second year running, at the 12th Edition of the Abrasca Award – Annual Report, the TBG was the winner in the category “Privately owned companies with net revenue of less than R$ 1 billion”, for its Activity Report for the year 2009.

In 2009, at the 11th Edition of the Abrasca Award – Annual Report, the TBG was the winner in the "Privately owned companies with net revenue of less than R$ 1 billion" category, for its Activity Report for the year 2008.

The Judging Panel, made up of members representing BM&FBovespa, Apimec Nacional, Apimec-SP, Aberje, Anefac, Abvcap, Anbid, Andima, Ibracon, Ibri, Ibef-SP, IBGC and AMEC, considered the quantity and quality of the information contained in the reports, noting details ranging from the company's cash flow and investments to socio-environmental and risk management factors.

This year, 85 companies and institutions were registered. Of those, 30 reached the final, divided into three categories: Publicly Listed Company, Privately Owned Company and Non-Business Organization.

The TBG was the regional winner (for Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo) of the Aberje Award 2009, with the case study “Crisis control during one of the country’s worst natural tragedies”, in the category 'Communication and Relationship Management - Communication in Business Crises'. Vale placed second for addressing the situations faced as a result of the global economic crisis.

The TBG case study highlighted the Corporate Communication management process during the corporate crisis experienced in Gaspar (Santa Catarina) at the end of 2008. The award crowned the TBG team's efforts to reestablish the transportation of natural gas to the southern region of Brazil and also endorsed the commitment to communication transparency and business management excellence in gas pipeline operations.

The award presented by Aberje (Brazilian Association for Business Communication) is the leading recognition of excellence in the field of Corporate Communication in Brazil. After winning the regional award, the TBG case study was entered for the National Award, and took second place.

The TBG was the big winner of the 2008 Sustainable Attitude Award, with the 2008 Outstanding Sustainable Attitude Trophy, presented by the Rio de Janeiro State Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAERJ). The award aims to recognize companies, entities, NGOs, personalities and others that have stood out in social programs in Brazil. This achievement is the result of hard work carried out since 2007 by the TBG and registered in the case study “SOMOS – TBG Social Program”. Among the 18 finalists, alongside the TBG there were companies on the scale of Unimed Rio, Furnas and Transpetro.

In 2008, the stand set up for the 2006 Rio Oil & Gas trade fair took 1st place in the "Medium-Sized Stand" category at the 4th edition of the Feira & Cia Estandesign 2008 Awards, promoted by Feira & Cia Magazine, with the support of Sindiprom, whose evaluation criteria were design, visual communication, technology, innovation and creativity. The concept of the TBG stand was a journey through the Gas Pipeline. The intention was to convey to the visitors at the fair the challenge of safely operating the Gas Pipeline on different kinds of terrain. Furthermore, there was also a focus on the environment, quality and high-tech. The major attraction was the tunnel in which the visitors were able to travel inside the Gas Pipeline, by means of a 3D computer simulation of the entire operation of the pipeline and its facilities.

In 2007, the Transparency Trophy was presented to the TBG for the third year running (privately owned company category, in 2005, 2006 and 2007) by the National Association of Financial, Administrative and Accounting Executives (Anefac), Foundation of the Accounting, Actuarial and Financial Research Institute (Fipecafi) and Serasa Experian. This year, the TBG stood out among the 584 privately owned companies evaluated by the FEA-USP, which also examined the financial statements presented by 174 publicly listed companies.

In 2007, the TBG won the Shell Safety Award for the milestone of 2 million man-hours of exposure to risk (MHER) without any accidents requiring time off work. The successful preventive and corrective action carried out by the TBG brought about this recognition.

In 2005, the TBG was one of three winners of the 6th edition of the ASUG (Association of SAP Users in Brazil) Impact Awards. A total of 30 cases were registered for this award, presented to the community that uses SAP business management software. The evaluation criteria included innovation, return on investment and impact on the organization.

The TBG was granted the title of Corporate Citizen 2005, an annual award presented by the Marketing Institute, UNESCO and the Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea) to companies that stand out in the area of Social Responsibility.
