On April 28 and 29, TBG took part in 2026 Gas Week, an event that brought together leading players in the gas and biomethane market. Held at the Brasil 21 Convention Center in Brasília, this annual meeting aims to foster discussion on strategic topics such as regulation, market liberalization, infrastructure expansion and the energy transition, as well as to encourage connections and business opportunities across the natural gas value chain.

The Bolivia–Brazil gas pipeline operator, TBG, was represented by strategy manager Tatiana Santos, who took part in a leadership roundtable dedicated to the topic of “Tariff Reviews,” contributing TBG’s perspective on the sector’s challenges and progress.

During the discussion, Santos emphasized the importance of a more structured, transparent and equitable tariff review process, conducted with broad stakeholder participation and regulatory coordination. She also shared TBG’s experience throughout its first regulatory cycle, highlighting improvements in market liberalization and the dynamics of the natural gas market.

Another point underscored by Santos was the need to approve investments for expanding and adapting infrastructure, considered essential for the sector’s development. She also drew attention to challenges related to timelines and ongoing regulatory decisions.

The meeting also featured regulation manager Robson Coelho and new business consultant Rafael Zonis. The presence of part of TBG’s leadership team reflected the company’s commitment to actively collaborating with industry players and contributing to a more predictable environment and sustainable growth in Brazil’s natural gas market.
