TBG received the “Green Seal” award from Jornal do Meio Ambiente for the fifth consecutive year. The Green Seal is awarded to a select group of companies that demonstrate a commitment to defending and protecting the environment, from a Sustainable Development point of view.

The Jornal do Meio Ambiente nominated TBG for the award after reviewing their own internal research survey which recommended the award based on findings made by the newspaper's Sustainability Committee, which consults diverse environmental agencies at the Federal, State and Municipal levels, including State Environmental Secretariats throughout the national territory, the Ministry of Environment, IBAMA, CONAMA, local City Halls and other environmental protection institutions. TBG was selected as one of the companies to receive this year’s Green Seal.

According to an e-mail from Jornal do Meio Ambiente received at the company on 11/30/22, "The Green Seal is a testimony of the trust in an organization duly given by potential customers, employees, society at large and the populations that live in the areas of direct influence. Once again, the Green Seal certification demonstrates the TBG commitment to the Environment, and efforts to defending Sustainable Market Development in the eyes of natural gas consumers.”
