In a ceremony held this Wednesday, December14th, at the Ministry of Economy, TBG was awarded the IG-Sest Governance Indicator Certification (6th cycle), with an overall score of 9.68. Among the 55 participating state companies, only 28 of them received certification, among which only six companies are indirectly controlled, such as TBG.

The assessment validates compliance with various legal norms and recommendations for best corporate governance practices, and, in particular, OECD guidelines. Some 46 items were evaluated, in the following categories: (i) councils and management; (ii) transparency; and (iii) risk management, controls and auditing. In this 6th cycle, aspects related to the promotion of equity, diversity and environmental responsibility were also evaluated.

The receiving of this certification informs the market that a company has good governance practices and a focus on strong management practices to deliver results, in addition to ratifying the work of administrators and employees, when looking at compliance with the principles of effectiveness, efficiency and transparency.
