The TBG 2022 Hackathon was launched this Tuesday, November 1st. The event was created to find and invest in the most innovative solutions and digitization technologies that reduce costs and time for the implementation of natural gas transport pipelines. TBG's main objective is to develop disruptive solutions for the expansion of a gas pipeline, including the construction or modification of compression stations, as well as the duplication of pipeline sections of the gas transport system and the implementation of gas receiving and delivery infrastructures. The focus is mainly on the disciplines required for work supervision and management of engineering projects at TBG.

The TBG 2022 Hackathon cycle will take place on November 4th, 8th and 9th. On the 4th, the presentation of the journey will take place, from 16:30 to 17:30, in live format. On the 8th and 9th, the event will be held live during Rio Innovation Week, located at the Pier Mauá, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.

On November 8th, the conceptualization phase will take place from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. On the 9th, from 16:00 to 19:00, the pitch day, and the judging of the works presented. The full schedule can be seen in the Marathon announcement.

The challenge will consist of up to five teams, with four participants in each, and at least one TBG participant. Anyone over 18 years of age, with an innovative profile and experience in the proposed topic, can participate.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three Hackathon finalists. First place will receive BRL 20,000; second place will receive BRL 10,000; and third place BRL 5,000. The values will be divided by each member of the respective winning teams.

TBG organized the Hackathon in partnership with “Sai do Papel”, an innovation and investment group that supports corporations, startups and investors. Participants of the TBG 2022 Hackathon Marathon shall assume full and exclusive responsibility for the ownership of the solution presented.
