TBG to participate in Rio Oil & Gas with audiovisual immersion, showcase and thematic session
Visitors to this year’s Rio Oil & Gas will have access, in virtual format, to a variety of information about the TBG’s pioneering solutions for the Brazilian gas market. In the company's audiovisual immersion lab, for example, the participants will be able to follow, step-by-step, the process of buying natural gas transportation capacity, which it will soon be possible to do by mobile phone.
During the eight-minute video, the participants will also learn more about what the TBG has to offer: interruptible products, short-term products and the Capacity Offers Portal (offertecapacity.tbg.com.br), as well as public calls to tender. These are all pioneering products in the natural gas logistics solutions sphere, developed as a result of dialogue with the market.
TBG CEO Erick Portela Pettendorfer explains that, “Our technical capacity and pioneering spirit enable us to come up with the best logistics solutions for the natural gas segment. Everything is designed on the basis of the needs of the market, which we identify through dialogue. The simplified capacity purchasing model, for example, was designed to also benefit the entire natural gas chain”.
Erick will participate in a thematic session on natural gas pipeline transportation, as part of the Rio Oil & Gas program, at 5:40 pm on Tuesday, December 1 st . He will talk a little about the development of the TBG's new business model, with new contractual formats, short-term products, incremental calls, consolidated within a marketplace, and will discuss the challenges that the sector is being exposed to.
A bronze sponsor of the event, the TBG will also provide a virtual showcase, showing a three-minute video. The company transports up to 30 million cubic meters of natural gas per day along 2,593 kilometers of gas pipeline that crosses the states of Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio
Grande do Sul, which together account for more than 50% of Brazil’s GDP. With its specialized technical staff, it is the only carrier in the country that manages its own operations and maintenance, and it is a national benchmark for cathodic protection, operating compressors, metrology and pipeline and right-of-way maintenance.
