The initiative marked the beginning of the development of the new Institutional Diversity Plan, which will guide the company’s actions for the 2026/2027 cycle.

The main objective of the event was to equip the participants to develop innovative and inclusive practices that promote social justice and institutional equity, aligning innovation strategies with TBG’s diversity, equity and inclusion policies.

The opening session was led by João Arquimedes, human resources and brand manager, who presented the workshop and welcomed participants while stressing TBG’s commitment to strengthening the diversity and innovation agenda. Next, Fabiana Alves da Silva from the Career and Development Area highlighted the relevance of the topic and the importance of reinforcing practices that expand equity within the company.

The meeting also featured Eliezer Leal, from Singue, who introduced the group to the recently released book “Black Careers.” In addition, the participants received copies of “The Racial Whiteness Pact” and “Little Anti-Racist Handbook,” with the aim of encouraging ongoing reflection and dialogue on racial equity among employees.

The day’s activities were led by consultant Helô Costa, a specialist in learning, diversity, equity and inclusion who has a master’s degree in ethnic and race relations and extensive experience in projects focused on social justice and institutional transformation. He addressed topics such as innovation through an equity lens, psychological safety, unconscious bias, inclusive leadership and strategies to strengthen organizational culture.

The group’s contributions will be incorporated into the new Institutional Diversity Plan, which will set out prioritized challenges, strategic initiatives and defined responsibilities for the 2026/2027 cycle.
