TBG participates in Latin American Corporate Travel & Events Experience and discusses analytical maturity in data use in corporate travel management
TBG’s planning, budget and infrastructure coordinator, Caio Rocha Machado, participated in a panel discussion titled “The Cost of Blind Decisions: How Poorly Used Data Creates Invisible Losses in Travel Programs,” exploring the financial and operational impacts of decisions made without a structured analytical foundation.
The highlights included an interactive quiz conducted with audience members to assess their profiles and level of satisfaction with data analysis at their companies. Only 15% reported being satisfied, while 49% identified it as a critical issue within their organizations.
The discussion also addressed topics such as the evolution of data storage technologies, the consolidation of the cloud computing market, currently dominated by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, and growing demand for processing power driven by artificial intelligence.
TBG’s participation in the event underscores its position as a data-driven company committed to efficiency, governance and innovation.
