TBG opens up registration for the acquisition of Short-Term Products
On July 27th (Monday) TBG will open up the registration phase for companies interested in purchasing Short-Term Products. The new format, a pioneering initiative in Brazil, deals with natural gas transportation services that can be purchased as off-the-shelf products, on an ongoing daily, monthly or quarterly basis, against constant supplies posted on the Capacity Offers Portal (POC), developed by the TBG.
The initiative aims to meet market expectations, since it increases the agility of the process for acquiring natural gas transportation services and provides the opportunity to adapt to seasonal variations in fuel supply and demand.
Interested parties should access TBG's Capacity Offers Portal (POC), where they can check out the Shipper Information Bulletin and the regulatory and commercial instructions regarding the transportation. The electronic address: ofertadecapacidade.tbg.com.br, where the information can be found, will be activated as of Monday (July 27th). The second phase comprises the completion and forwarding of the Registration, for approval of the interested party (Shipper) for the acquisition of short-term products. The Registration approval phase, which incurs no cost to the interested party, is a prerequisite for expediting the contractual process for acquiring Short-Term Products.
In due course, the offering of products will be made available on the POC, along with the respective contractual instruments for the purchasing of short-term transportation capacity.
