TBG opens up registration for a Business Round involving startups
Startups from all over Brazil can register, up to August 2nd, for the Energy Hub Connection: Energy Hub SDP and TBG Business Round. The participants are expected to come up with disruptive solutions for the industrial installations of the TBG, the company operating one of the longest gas pipelines in Latin America. The event will be 100% online and at the end, up to three startups may be hired to implement their technologies at the company.
From this event, promoted by the Energy Hub Sai do Papel (SDP), an initiative that brings together important agents from within the Brazilian entrepreneurial ecosystem, TBG is seeking solutions, preferably in robotics and automation, to overcome the challenge of applying disruptive digital technology, devices and sensors in decision making with regard to operational integrity, safety and maintenance. The startup proposals will be mentored by the TBG team and R$ 50,000 will be made available to carry out Proof-of-Concept (POC) and/or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development.
Startup representatives who are interested in participating in this opportunity can access the call to tender by means of the link: https://bit.ly/2BrEnW6 and can fill out the registration form available at: https://bit.ly/3hzqAvY. Following the presentations, all the projects will be evaluated by a TBG internal committee, which will select the 10 finalists. Up to three solutions presented may be chosen to sign a cooperation agreement for the implementation of their technologies.
The TBG believes that disruption can generate more value for its business model. That is why it is seeking visionary entrepreneurs, capable of contributing to the mission of transporting natural gas through 136 municipalities in five Brazilian states.
