Between the 11th and 28th of April, TBG will hold the 5th Bidding Round to offer natural gas transport capacity for Short-Term Products. The contracting availability to contract transport will begin May 2022. Bids for acquisition of capacity transport services will be held in three subsequent steps and finalized by signing entry and exit contracts, prioritizing quarterly, monthly and daily contracting.

In the first phase, between the 11th and 15th of April, quarterly contracts are available, with terms scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of this year. The period of this first phase starts with the publication of available capacity and finalizes with the signing of contracts.

The monthly short-term contract will be offered between the 18th and 22nd of April. The acquisition of this modality covers the period between May and December of this year.

The products offered in a daily modality format are for contracts with an operational period in May and will be released between the 25th and 27th of April.

If there is a need for immediate contracting of daily products, the Capacity Offer Portal (POC) allows the processing of such requests with just one day in advance. The request and contracting of daily products normally take place in the early hours of the day and, once the capacity has been effectively contracted, the transport services request, by the customer, can be made available for the next day.

Capacity contracting must be carried out through the TBG website Capacity Booking Portal (POC), a virtual environment that allows the contracting of short-term products and services from TBG on a quarterly, monthly and daily basis and which can be accessed at www.ofertadecapacidade.com.br.

TBG is the only company in Brazil that offers natural gas pipeline transport services on a quarterly, monthly and daily basis. The new contract modalities and other initiatives were designed to contribute to the opening of the national gas market, in order to meet the variety of different demands received from shippers.

Due to the fact that the Open Season 03/2021 for the firm contracting of transport capacity for the years 2022 to 2026 is still in progress, the contracts to be signed during this process will have priority over short-term contracts, whenever there is competing demand for certain available capacity offers.

Since August 2021, the POC has become the first Multi-Transport Platform in the country, which allows, not oly purchase of TBG products and services, but also offers made by other credentialed gas carriers.
