TBG GETS THE GREEN LIGHT TO EXPAND GAS TRASPORT CAPACITY OF THE GASBOL SOUTHERN SECTION
The Brazilian Regulatory Agency - ANP has authorized TBG to resume the Open Season 03/21, based on the celebration of contracts that resulted from the events’ initial launching and posteriorly approved by the Agency. The decision was based on the amount of interest received by market players during the first phase of the Season for the additional transport capacities involving the pipeline RS1 exit zone, in the period 2024 to 2026, and the SC2 exit zone, in the year 2026.
The Agency's decision was only made viable because of the technical-operational solution presented by TBG, which consists of reinforcing natural gas transport services in the southern section of the Gasbol, through the implementation of a project to expand the operational capacity of the Compression Stations located in Araucaria and Biguaçu.
The TBG pioneer spirit, creativity, speed and proactivity, made it possible to implement this new process by 2024; a very challenging timeframe.
Once again, TBG contributes to expanding services to customers and to the consolidation of the New Natural Gas Market in Brazil.
