The event is free of charge and will address topics relevant to the sector, such as the impacts caused by the New Market Gas Program on the demand for special human resources in the natural gas industry, with a closer look at the issue of gas transport and marketing.

The meeting will be attended by professors Edmar Almeida, Sidney Stuckenbruck and Eloi Fernandez, representatives of the Energy Institute and the Mechanical Engineering Department at PUC-Rio, and TBG's Commercial Director, Jorge Hijjar. The debate is the result of the partnership between PUC-Rio and TBG to offer extension courses aimed at the gas industry, given both by university academics and by TBG technical personnel, through Pipeline Skills, the company School of Business. The first two courses offered are entitled: “Regulatory Fundamentals of Natural Gas Transport”, scheduled for March 2022, and “Gas Transport Tariff Regulation”, scheduled for April, 2022.
