TBG begins 4th Round of offers of Short-Term Products

On March 1st, TBG will begin Round 4 of the offering of Short Term Product formats for natural gas transportation capacity. According to the gas transporter’s schedule, approved by the ANP, the auctions will make three contractual formats available: quarterly, monthly and daily.

This fourth round of offers of TBG's Short Term Products starts off with quarterly ‘entry and exit’ contracts, covering the second, third and fourth quarters of this year. The various steps between the announcement of the available capacity and the signing of the contracts will take place between March 1st and March 5th.

Between March 8th and 12th, firm capacity contracts will be offered to the market in the monthly format, for purchase covering the period between April and December 2021.

The daily products for the month of April will be offered between the March 15th and 17th.

It should be remembered that TBG has made a series of improvements to its capacity offers digital platform (POC), making it possible under the daily format to order the product with only one day’s prior notice. The application and reserving of the product takes place in the early hours of the morning and as soon as the capacity is under contract the customer can place their transportation order for the following day.

The contractual procedure can be performed using the Capacity Offers Platform (POC), a digital purchasing environment set up by the TBG at: ofertadecapacidade.tbg.com.br.

Interested shippers may submit requests for contractual capacity in one or more product format, by entry point and/or exit zone, according to their interests.

The offering of Short-Term Products provides distinctive services for logistics solutions in the transportation of natural gas, with the TBG giving the market a new contractual option that enables shippers to organize their transport capacity portfolio and adapt to seasonal factors.
