TBG closes two more contracts for Short Term Products

TBG is closing two more contracts for the acquisition of Short Term Products, under the Extraordinary format of the Monthly service provision period. The contracts, by Petrobras for the month of March, cover a total of 455,000 cubic meters of natural gas transportation capacity.

That brings the total to five contracts under this new service provision model during the first three months in which it became available to the market. According to the company’s executives, the Short Term Products are in a process of consolidation, since they are meeting the expectations of the sector and represent a business model that adds market value, enabling the transportation of natural gas to be handled more dynamically, on a quarterly, monthly or daily contractual basis.

The natural gas transportation contracts with Petrobras, signed during the 3rd Round of Short Term Product Offers, are for exit points in Mato Grosso do Sul (zone MS1) and São Paulo (zone SP4).

The acquisition of these and other products is conducted through the Capacity Offers Portal (ofertadecapacidade.tbg.com.br), a digital environment developed by TBG for the selling of products and services, where one can acquire transportation service provision just as in an e-commerce environment, with ease, agility and convenience.

The offering of short-term products is ongoing and will remain available on the COP throughout the 2021 calendar year, enabling market agents to purchase any of the products that interest them.
